Hi

My name is Jason Soto.

A little brief about myself first.

I’m 19 years of age, a student studying Business Advertising. Earlier in the year I was studing Business Marketing and have now changed my course. I’ve found studying in Sydney fun and enjoyable, and can’t wait to broaden my knowledge in the workforce.

I’m doing a cadetship with NeedEducation and today was my first day. I found it very interesting and also learnt a lot. It expanded my interest in the industry.

Day 1

I started work at 10am today and was greeted by Anthony Smyth who I’m working for and learning from. Anthony is the Managing Partner of NeedMedia/Need Education etc..

10:30

The day started with Anothony asking me to proof read an email he was sending to a client.

11:00

We met with the solicitor of NeedMedia and discussions were held about a few things.

2pm

We headed over to Surry Hills to meet a new client of NeedEducation and discussed what services NeedEducation could provide for them in terms of advertising and working with them.

4pm

Anthony and I headed back to the office and he went through a few things about the company with me.

5pm

I looked at advertisiments from educational colleges, cut them out and pasted them into a scrap book so tomorrow I can begin cold calling, and finding new clients.

6pm

The work day ended for me but Anthony kept on working.
